Franc Merlot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebben Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner. Marcelo Steven went to the cornerflag to take it. When Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TiGrEs Fx's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Gilberto Rancaño took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Anders Lundqvist to make any attempt to save it. In the 23rdth minute of the game Loco Durazno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TiGrEs Fx's Franc Merlot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Golden Lions FC got a corner. TiGrEs Fx's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelo Steven ran over to the corner to take the kick. 27 minutes into the game, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franc Merlot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loco Durazno in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franc Merlot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. TiGrEs Fx's Franc Merlot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franc Merlot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Rancaño was the one to do the kick off. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Rancaño in the 53rd minute of play. TiGrEs Fx made a substitution. Junior Saron replaced José Madero. Golden Lions FC's Arne Tönnberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maju Vellon, made in the 59th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Durazno in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franc Merlot saved TiGrEs Fx from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Arne Tönnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Gilberto Rancaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franc Merlot made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Loco Durazno sent off a good shot on target. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Quintana in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, TiGrEs Fx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maju Vellon to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, TiGrEs Fx's Maju Vellon got a free kick in the 79th minute. Golden Lions FC's Bebben Johansson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Junior Saron in the 84 minute of the game. Franc Merlot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Burç Tokhan's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Bebben Johanssons short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Franc Merlot to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Franc Merlot was a little too slow when Burç Tokhan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-4. Golden Lions FC played a much better game than TiGrEs Fx and deserved their victory. The TiGrEs Fx players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
