Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cavalera, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. João Barone made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Igor Cavalera. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Cavalera made a kick off. Andy Cole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alysson Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Floresta Negra FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cavalera in the 72nd minute of play. Floresta Negra FC's Filcho Dzhagarov was substituted for Lokon Pøhl. 72 minutes into the game, one of Floresta Negra FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Egun Pais, was totally fooled by Ogro F.C.'s Jerônimo Vergílio, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Cole in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Jerônimo Vergílio scored 0-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egun Pais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Van Halen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egun Pais was out of position in the 98 minute of play, and Marco Minnemann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Minnemann really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Ogro F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
