In the 20th minute Jens-Ove Malm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuang Shi Ting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhuang Shi Ting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 21st minute of play. When Betão Catarinense fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Divina Comédia FC's protests and gave Betão Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when Divina Comédia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Siqueira. 31 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zhuang Shi Ting narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcos Siqueira in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Malm in the 37th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Zhuang Shi Ting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Neves got a throw-in 38 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Thiago Neves. Thiago Neves's late challenge caught a Divina Comédia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thiago Neves helped the player get up and apologised. Fabrício Vergílio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliézer Cavalcante made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliézer Cavalcante. A collision led to Divina Comédia FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. José Araújo hit a great ball. Amauri Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute of the match Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a corner. Divina Comédia FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tolgahan Onatkan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fabrício Vergílio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Divina Comédia FC's Alessandro Castro was substituted for José Araújo. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's attentive Israel Vidal managed to snatch the ball when Betão Catarinense made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. A hard shot 85 in the game by Eliézer Cavalcante from a close distance when the talented Amauri Félix managed to make a qualified save. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's players were relieved. Thiago Neves hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Murilo Brito hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Divina Comédia FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Divina Comédia FC.
