The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when Academia Santista CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslaw Willmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gu Zhan Wei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliézer Cavalcante went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jaroslaw Willmer hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Cavalcante in the 8th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gu Zhan Wei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ian Moraes's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Guaberto Bras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Bras in the 16th minute of play. Zhuang Shi Ting made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Severino Turres sent off a good shot on target. After 21 played minutes Divina Comédia FC got a freekick which was hit by José Araújo. In the 22nd minute of the match Jaroslaw Willmer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zhuang Shi Ting showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Divina Comédia FC were awarded a corner. Guaberto Bras went to the cornerflag to take it. Augusto Vander tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Gu Zhan Wei. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Pirani in the 34th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Zhuang Shi Ting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gu Zhan Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Bras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Sanchez in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Pirani to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugo Sanchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Gu Zhan Wei made a huge save. After 67 minutes Academia Santista CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guaberto Bras who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Divina Comédia FC's corner Guaberto Bras fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gu Zhan Wei quite easily take care of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Gai Palou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zhuang Shi Ting. Divina Comédia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gai Palou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Gu Zhan Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Bras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Rafael Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Divina Comédia FC's Guaberto Bras shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gu Zhan Wei but with some difficulty. 76 minutes into the game, Divina Comédia FC's Guaberto Bras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gu Zhan Wei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 84 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guaberto Bras. Eliézer Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gu Zhan Wei having to interfere. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when Academia Santista CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Frank de Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia Santista CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Divina Comédia FC the free kick. Frank de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Divina Comédia FC's Guaberto Bras slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gu Zhan Wei. That made the score 1-4 after 94 minutes of play. Divina Comédia FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
