Braulio Toli started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Toli came free, but Bernardo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Warren FC - DMZ's Bernardo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Maia in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ricardinho Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. JEC - FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the game, Luisinho Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JEC - FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Warren FC - DMZ the free kick. After a rather tough play, JEC - FC's Luisinho Abraão got a free kick in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giorgian Arrascaeta during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Giorgian Arrascaeta hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Bernardo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Toli in the 19th minute of play. Julio Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bernardo Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Warren FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fellipe Machado hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Maia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bernardo Moreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernardo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Elano Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute of the match JEC - FC got a corner. Warren FC - DMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ricardinho Maia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bunda Cagara hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Maia came free, but Bernardo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half JEC - FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Nazário De Lima to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcisio Galvão in the 52nd minute of play forced Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Bernardo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 55th minute of play forced JEC - FC's goalkeeper Carlos Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as JEC - FC's Julio Baptista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardo Moreira. That made the score 0-2 after 58 minutes of play. 63 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Galvão came free, but Bernardo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Nazário De Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Warren FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Eusébio Vieira hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Fellipe Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Toli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Bernardo Moreira made a huge save. Bernardo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarcisio Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Warren FC - DMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ricardinho Maia was slow to take the kick. During this time JEC - FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led JEC - FC's Ricardinho Maia to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Moreira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ronaldo Nazário De Lima spun around in front of the goal 92 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of JEC - FC's goal. The Warren FC - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Warren FC - DMZ's Ronaldo Nazário De Lima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match was over JEC - FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Warren FC - DMZ throughout the match.
