Paraná Clube Brasil's Biagio Furino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elce Teleagă in the 15th minute of play. Biagio Furino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elce Teleagă, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Belino came free, but Biagio Furino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Biagio Furino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 58 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube Brasil's goalkeeper Biagio Furino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elce Teleagă. In the 60th minute Johan Neeskens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Furino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gino Tonić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paraná Clube Brasil were furious when Walmir Martini was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Paraná Clube Brasil:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of New Miran FC:s goal. In the 88th minute, Arlindo Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
