Edgar Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiao Kun Guo in the 29th minute of play. Edgar Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Heidemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Rafael Mineiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rafael Mineiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SUPERSTAR - DMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rafael Mineiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 32nd match minute, SUPERSTAR - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, Gol Legal FC's Igor Loyola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgar Guerra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gol Legal FC reached it. In the 35th minute, Qiao Kun Guo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Guerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Guilherme Heidemann might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Guerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guilherme Heidemann ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qiao Kun Guo in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Guerra saved SUPERSTAR - DMZ from getting behind. Qiao Kun Guo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiao Kun Guo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gol Legal FC's Nicolas de Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Heidemann came free, but Edgar Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Paul van der Leegte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Edgar Guerra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Edgar Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save SUPERSTAR - DMZ from getting a goal against them. A collision led to SUPERSTAR - DMZ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Teodoro Souza hit a great ball. Qiao Kun Guo might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Guerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Qiao Kun Guo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute, Qiao Kun Guo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gol Legal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Qiao Kun Guo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Guilherme Heidemann scored to the left of an out of position Edgar Guerra, making the score, 0-4. Gol Legal FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
