B-S-L's Peter Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto de Lara in the 3rd minute of play. Flávio Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Jacinto de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júnior de Moraes struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Antônio Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for B-S-L. Jacinto de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind B-S-L's goalkeeper Peter Lundgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antônio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Jacinto de Lara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter Lundgren. Jacinto de Lara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 30th minute Jacinto de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes B-S-L's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clemente Pires who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jacinto de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. PIRATAS TFP's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Lundgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, B-S-L's goalkeeper Peter Lundgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto de Lara. In the 46th minute Patryk Gecionis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Júnior de Moraes made the kick off in the second half. Peter Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto de Lara in the 53rd minute of the match. The B-S-L fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Lundgren should have stopped the shot. Antônio Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior de Moraes in the 62nd minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Antônio Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PIRATAS TFP's José Pedro de Amaral managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yaşar Nuri Sezer in the 64 minute of the game. In the 66th minute Júnior de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto de Lara in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PIRATAS TFP fans cheered their team off the field, for while B-S-L had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
