Ronaldo Joinvilense started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute of the game Waldir Reis made a throw-in which Nando Lara played forward. 11 minutes into the match, Wolves FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto de Lara came free, but Guillen Aguillar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in PIRATAS TFP's zone, Ronaldo Joinvilense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Borges came out of the goal and Ronaldo Joinvilense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ronaldo Joinvilense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillen Aguillar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristofers Cveigorēns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 48th minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Antônio Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacinto de Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. Antônio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Wolves FC - DMZ's Guillen Aguillar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto de Lara in the 58th minute of play. PIRATAS TFP's Antônio Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 59th minute of play. Clemente Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillen Aguillar having to interfere. Antônio Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Löhr in the 70th minute of play. Guillen Aguillar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto de Lara in the 71st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antônio Borges saved PIRATAS TFP from getting behind. PIRATAS TFP's Antônio Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Wolves FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Reis to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto de Lara in the 91st minute of play forced Wolves FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Guillen Aguillar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Ronaldo Joinvilense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wolves FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the PIRATAS TFP players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Wolves FC - DMZ.
