Antônio Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gedeon Káposztás in the 8th minute of the match. Antônio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gedeon Káposztás, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 22nd minute of play forced PIRATAS TFP's goalkeeper Antônio Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laércio Travassos hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Gedeon Káposztás made a precise shot to the right of Antônio Borges. PIRATAS TFP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Grêmio Papão de WC's Niklas Molander quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eliézer Ramos, made in the 31st minute of the game. Jacinto de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Niklas Molander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Papão de WC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PIRATAS TFP the free kick. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Papão de WC's Niklas Molander got a free kick in the 40th minute. Andréas Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto de Lara in the 42nd minute of the match. PIRATAS TFP's Antônio Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Leme in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Andréas Linquist came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara. But to his dismay, Jacinto de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 55th minute, Jacinto de Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, PIRATAS TFP's Antônio Borges got control of the ball when Gedeon Káposztás tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Gedeon Káposztás had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Borges. PIRATAS TFP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gedeon Káposztás was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Grêmio Papão de WC's Geovanildo Zago was substituted for Henrique Messias. Quique Jara hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Gedeon Káposztás could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Antônio Borges made a huge save. If Jacinto de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andréas Linquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson de Barros in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to PIRATAS TFP getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Eliézer Ramos hit a great ball. When the match was over Grêmio Papão de WC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PIRATAS TFP throughout the match.
