Raphael Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 3rd minute of play. Raphael Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Miau Stars defense, Zbigniew Zatorski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdulkadir Eraslan. The Miau Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdulkadir Eraslan should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan got control of the ball when Simo Mihklisaar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abdulkadir Eraslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Toribio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Sousa in the 23rd minute of play. After 29 minutes, Pedro Luís Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- and the Miau Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Raphael Dantas had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Edmílson Arantes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan got control of the ball when Simo Mihklisaar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronaldo Fenomeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raphael Dantas having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Miau Stars's Edmílson Arantes got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 43 played minutes Miau Stars got a freekick which was hit by Di Yue. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Mauro Quirino was substituted for Tim-Florian T. Hansen. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Tony Thanos was substituted for Simo Mihklisaar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Zatorski in the 52nd minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raphael Dantas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mauro Quirino took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulkadir Eraslan. Abdulkadir Eraslan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Miau Stars made a substitution. Palmer Akers replaced İslam Mengüalp. Tony Thanos kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute Zbigniew Zatorski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Eraslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miau Stars made a substitution. Egídio I replaced Armando Graack. The throw-in from Andrea Heraso in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Miau Stars's Olavo Mota. Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Thanos in the 83rd minute of play. Andrea Heraso's late challenge caught a Miau Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrea Heraso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Andrea Heraso got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Quirino in the 99th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans cheered their team off the field, for while Miau Stars had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
