In the 15th minute Luiz Paulo de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Eraslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdulkadir Eraslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno De Putter in the 15th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Filomeno De Putter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdulkadir Eraslan. Miau Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filomeno De Putter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 20th play minutes Ronaldo Fenomeno shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Cristian Salles and just under the crossbar into goal. Triforce Super Soccer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Ronaldo Fenomeno scored to the left of an out of position Cristian Salles, making the score, 3-1. Abdulkadir Eraslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo de Lima came free, but Abdulkadir Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Fenomeno was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 47 played minutes Miau Stars got a freekick which was hit by Armando Graack. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filomeno De Putter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jean-Pascal Croissant made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Filomeno De Putter immediately put the ball in play. Abdulkadir Eraslan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno De Putter in the 58th minute. Kenneth Knutsson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 69th minute of play. Cristian Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Flavinho Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miau Stars's Olavo Mota was substituted for Edmílson Arantes. Miau Stars made a substitution. Jean-Claude Van Damme replaced Flavinho Sousa. Luiz Paulo de Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdulkadir Eraslan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Miau Stars were awarded a corner. Palmer Akers went to the cornerflag to take it. Miau Stars's Palmer Akers was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristian Salles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 84th minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Miau Stars had won after a very even match.
