The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedro Luís Furtado hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Tiro Peralta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raphael Dantas skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the PIRATAS TFP defense, Mauro Quirino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antônio Borges. The PIRATAS TFP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antônio Borges should have stopped the shot. The PIRATAS TFP fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
