Cristian Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gedeon Káposztás went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Norberto de Toledo made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Grêmio Papão de WC's Geovanildo Zago. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 15th minute of play forced Triforce Super Soccer's goalkeeper Cristian Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Gedeon Káposztás made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Salles. Triforce Super Soccer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gedeon Káposztás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Grêmio Papão de WC were awarded a corner. Selman Pektaşi went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Kléber Barral advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-3 in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute Kléber Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andréas Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Laércio Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Gedeon Káposztás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filomeno De Putter. Andréas Linquist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filomeno De Putter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 40 minute of play. 45 minutes in the game Edson Faria did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gedeon Káposztás.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gedeon Káposztás to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Filomeno De Putter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Papão de WC's Andréas Linquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andréas Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno De Putter, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Grêmio Papão de WC made a substitution. José Leme replaced Geovanildo Zago. Cristian Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Muniz in the 74th minute. Grêmio Papão de WC's Andréas Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 77th minute of play. Andréas Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno De Putter in the 78th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Filomeno De Putter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Cristian Salles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Grêmio Papão de WC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Triforce Super Soccer's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Selman Pektaşi took the corner. The corner led Grêmio Papão de WC's Laércio Travassos to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristian Salles despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fan Qi Lin kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Norberto de Toledo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Selman Pektaşi might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Salles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Selman Pektaşi ran back to his position shaking his head. Laércio Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Aldo Calçada put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Triforce Super Soccer fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! In the 97th minute of the game, Grêmio Papão de WC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. The Grêmio Papão de WC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Grêmio Papão de WC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
