In the 3rd minute, Luke Olle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Daniel Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacey Sharp in the 6th minute of the match. CJ Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Olle, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Babür Kongurtay notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Barrera 2.0's CJ Buffon. CJ Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Cacey Sharp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dragões Barbudos FC's zone, Lachezar Kavaldzhiev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Chaves came out of the goal and Lachezar Kavaldzhiev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lachezar Kavaldzhiev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cacey Sharp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacey Sharp, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. FC Barrera 2.0 were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Dragões Barbudos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lachezar Kavaldzhiev took the corner. The corner ended in Augusto Oberrauch almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dragões Barbudos FC's Daniel Chaves did a great save. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dragões Barbudos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lachezar Kavaldzhiev was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Barrera 2.0's players had a chance to rest. Babür Kongurtay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. CJ Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Dragões Barbudos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho Lago to maneuver through the defense. CJ Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babür Kongurtay, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cacey Sharp made a kick off. In the 55th minute Gil Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but CJ Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragões Barbudos FC's Daniel Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacey Sharp in the 56th minute of play. CJ Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Olle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Chaves came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Barrera 2.0's Cacey Sharp. But to his dismay, Cacey Sharp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. FC Barrera 2.0 made a substitution. Sidnei Donato replaced Mao Zhen. 83 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Daniel Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Mendes. In the 85th minute, Luke Olle made a precise shot to the right of CJ Buffon. FC Barrera 2.0's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 92 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Olle came free, but CJ Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Barrera 2.0 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Barrera 2.0 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
