Juventus EC's Bilbo Arzube played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho MacLaren in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, São Wilson's goal looked a bit too open when Walmyr Loyola came free, but Shi Feng Yun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Juventus EC's goalkeeper Bilbo Arzube had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson. In the 20th minute Walmyr Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Feng Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magno de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bilbo Arzube made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 29th minute of play. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Bilbo Arzube skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 33 minutes into the match, Juventus EC's Walmyr Loyola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shi Feng Yun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Tomm Thys almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun did a great save. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind São Wilson's goalkeeper Shi Feng Yun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bilbo Arzube made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bilbo Arzube saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Juventus EC's Nilson Leite was substituted for Luís Ramalho. Juventus EC's Rosendo Gervaso was substituted for Walmyr Loyola. The wind increased when Rosendo Gervaso made the kick off in the second half. Shi Feng Yun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilson Leite in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Nilson Leite could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Shi Feng Yun however easily saved by the left post. Juventus EC were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after São Wilson's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomm Thys took the corner. Shi Feng Yun was a little too slow when Fran Yeste got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-1. 87 minutes into the match, São Wilson's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Gervaso came free, but Shi Feng Yun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilson Leite in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shi Feng Yun saved São Wilson from getting behind. Rosendo Gervaso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Shi Feng Yun made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, Juventus EC's Leopoldo Perez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shi Feng Yun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
