The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Teofil Gorzkiewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bilbo Arzube. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofil Gorzkiewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Loyola in the 28th minute of play forced TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Ferdinand Joldea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute of the match TIMETER EC -DMZ- got a corner. Juventus EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag.
