Axel Bäck hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Red Bull Magnus's Cláudio Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 4th minute of play. Shi Feng Yun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bass Dost in the 5th minute. With a little luck, São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun got control of the ball when Bass Dost tried to sneak it across the goal line. Red Bull Magnus were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after São Wilson's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Bäck took the corner. The corner led Red Bull Magnus's Axel Bäck to fire away a dangerous shot which Shi Feng Yun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Shi Feng Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Hefter in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Red Bull Magnus got a corner. São Wilson's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Bäck ran over to the corner to take the kick. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bass Dost in the 13th minute of play. Cláudio Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save São Wilson from getting a goal against them. Bass Dost could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Shi Feng Yun made a huge save. 25 minutes into the game, Jörg Michael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. São Wilson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Bull Magnus the free kick. In the 25th match minute, São Wilson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörg Michael to maneuver through the defense. Axel Bäck hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Red Bull Magnus's Bass Dost got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bass Dost in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shi Feng Yun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Red Bull Magnus's Cláudio Bittencourt got control of the ball when Paulinho MacLaren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shi Feng Yun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bass Dost, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Red Bull Magnus were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after São Wilson's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Bäck took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bass Dost in the 60th minute of play forced São Wilson's goalkeeper Shi Feng Yun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bass Dost in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Bass Dost who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Red Bull Magnus's You Wei Xing was substituted for Paulo Renato Trigo. Red Bull Magnus's Luisão Negri was substituted for Bass Dost. Shi Feng Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from You Wei Xing in the 71st minute of the match. Cláudio Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho MacLaren in the 72nd minute of play. If You Wei Xing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Richard Hefter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Feng Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. São Wilson's Gonçalo Reis was substituted for Jörg Michael. Red Bull Magnus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Bäck in the 78th minute. Axel Bäck made a great header on Red Bull Magnus's corner, it was just that São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun managed to reach the ball for a save. Richard Hefter took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shi Feng Yun. Shi Feng Yun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Cláudio Bittencourt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Richard Hefter struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Shi Feng Yun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Bull Magnus. If You Wei Xing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind São Wilson's goalkeeper Shi Feng Yun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the São Wilson defense, Richard Hefter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shi Feng Yun. The São Wilson fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shi Feng Yun should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Red Bull Magnus fans cheered their team off the field, for while São Wilson had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
