If Wit Lampa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. From a short distance, Sporting Club Sicilia's Adalberto Figueiredo, in the 58th minute, tried to place the ball behind Nistor Maghiar, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. In the 59th minute Guaberto Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Maghiar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Damiano Cino. With a little luck, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar got control of the ball when Concetto De Nardis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sporting Club Sicilia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
