Octav Albescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Aurelio Di Lullo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Şantău came free, but Aurelio Di Lullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cédric Payen in the 20th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuele Ranieri charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuele Ranieri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Aurelio Di Lullo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Octav Albescu. When Niculae Şantău came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Minerul Baita -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Şantău couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute Niculae Şantău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd play minute Dudu Georgescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aurelio Di Lullo. 4-0. Niculae Şantău scored 5-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 43 in the game by Dudu Georgescu from a close distance when the talented Aurelio Di Lullo managed to make a qualified save. Valdieri's players were relieved. Dudu Georgescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Aurelio Di Lullo made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niculae Şantău in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Di Lullo saved Valdieri from getting behind. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cédric Payen, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Georgescu came free, but Aurelio Di Lullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niculae Şantău took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. 74 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Georgescu came free, but Aurelio Di Lullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ionuț Vasiliu was substituted for Gordon Miner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Allan Shearer was substituted for Dudu Georgescu. 80 minutes into the match, Allan Shearer notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
