Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kim Bolas started the match with the kick off. Barrie Kerridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Georgescu in the 5th minute of play. Nistor Maghiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Bolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Sliema Dragons FC were awarded a corner. Baran Erozan went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Baran Erozan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nistor Maghiar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nistor Maghiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Bolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute Ciprian Alexe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barrie Kerridge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baran Erozan. Sliema Dragons FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baran Erozan in the 24th minute. After taking down the ball on Sliema Dragons FC's corner Leszek Cupial fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nistor Maghiar quite easily take care of the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Sliema Dragons FC got a corner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baran Erozan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sliema Dragons FC's Baran Erozan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nistor Maghiar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Baran Erozan shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 29th minute, 1-0. A hard shot 34 in the game by Kim Bolas from a close distance when the talented Nistor Maghiar managed to make a qualified save. Minerul Baita -MM-'s players were relieved. Edinho de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Dudu Georgescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Barrie Kerridge came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minerul Baita -MM- reached it. 37 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Kim Bolas came free, but Nistor Maghiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Kim Bolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Ixidor kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Rareș Comișel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barrie Kerridge skillfully saved the ball. Barrie Kerridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cédric Payen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Kim Bolas took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nistor Maghiar to make any attempt to save it. If Cédric Payen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dudu Georgescu was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Kim Bolas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sliema Dragons FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kim Bolas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nistor Maghiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 59 minutes of play, Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nistor Maghiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Bolas in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nistor Maghiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kim Bolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Albescu to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nistor Maghiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Dejan Cassar replaced Kim Bolas. In the 71stth minute of the game Dejan Cassar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Sliema Dragons FC booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Comișel didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Rareș Comișel hit a great ball. Rareș Comișel kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Sliema Dragons FC booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Comișel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dejan Cassar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nistor Maghiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Rareș Comișel in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sliema Dragons FC's Gábor Illés. In the 87th minute, Baran Erozan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Baran Erozan got a free kick in the 88th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Minerul Baita -MM-'s Allan Shearer in the 94th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Barrie Kerridge was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Sliema Dragons FC through an amazing save. Minerul Baita -MM- were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Sliema Dragons FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ionuț Vasiliu took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Dan Bogdan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. For all the effort they put into the match, the Minerul Baita -MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sliema Dragons FC.
