Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorrin Briones showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 9 minute of play. After 14 played minutes Black Rose 1979 got a freekick which was hit by Enzo-Nicolás Pérez. The supporters of Black Rose 1979 booed when Rapsodas Red Devils FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Camus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Enekoitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ferenc Tököli. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Black Rose 1979 from getting a goal against them. Ferenc Tököli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jorrin Briones received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Black Rose 1979 were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Rapsodas Red Devils FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastian Enekoitz took the corner. Sebastian Enekoitz made a great header on Black Rose 1979's corner, it was just that Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli managed to reach the ball for a save. 41 minutes into the game, Davor Šuker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. In the 70th minute Jerrold Taranco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Salah went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score.
