With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boguslaw Tarasek in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juaneizu Merida saved Nacional from getting behind. Ryszard Barycz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Juaneizu Merida made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilson Peres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Camilo Candido hit a great ball. Ryszard Barycz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Juaneizu Merida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juaneizu Merida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Barycz, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Grabiel Escorcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juaneizu Merida made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ryszard Barycz sent off a good shot on target. Joseph Gayoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Robert Arboleda. Grabiel Escorcia struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Nilson Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacional. 35 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's Boguslaw Tarasek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juaneizu Merida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Candido to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Ryszard Barycz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juaneizu Merida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boguslaw Tarasek was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres got control of the ball when Joseph Gayoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juaneizu Merida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. Jardel Baggio replaced Ryszard Barycz. ITAFUT 4EVER's Rodriguinho Linhares was substituted for Evelio Rico. In the 79th minute Jardel Baggio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juaneizu Merida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Grabiel Escorcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson Peres. ITAFUT 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grabiel Escorcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Juaneizu Merida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Baggio in the 90th minute of the match.
