Grabiel Escorcia started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grabiel Escorcia in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmiro Dominic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luciano Inverso kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Grabiel Escorcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmiro Dominic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grabiel Escorcia ran back to his position shaking his head. Grabiel Escorcia succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 19th playminute. 24 minutes into the game, Carl Sagan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nacional's Xu Sha quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 29th minute Grabiel Escorcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Dominic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute Nacional were awarded a corner. Xu Sha went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Nacional's corner Luciano Inverso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Delmiro Dominic quite easily take care of the ball. When Mendiko Bueres fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nacional's protests and gave Mendiko Bueres a yellow card for diving instead. Mendiko Bueres kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to C.A Huracan getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Carl Sagan hit a great ball. Delmiro Dominic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 39th minute of play. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Ondino in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dave Basso in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juaneizu Merida, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nacional's attentive Camilo Candido managed to snatch the ball when Fausto Elixio made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. Dave Basso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Juaneizu Merida made a huge save. Timoteo Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Juaneizu Merida made a huge save. Nacional made a substitution. Walme Yurre replaced Mendiko Bueres. The throw-in from Fausto Elixio in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nacional's Camilo Candido. In the 82nd minute of the game Fausto Elixio made a throw-in which Nestor Ondino played forward. The supporters of C.A Huracan booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Candido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Karmel. In the 88th minute, C.A Huracan's Dave Basso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Grabiel Escorcia sped through C.A Huracan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Delmiro Dominic. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nacional fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.A Huracan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
