The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feridun Eryiğit in the 7th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Andres Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Martin Jax recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zachariasz Chmielecki. Martin Jax showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, GERLIROJO Ψ's Isidro Larra got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Aage Hill left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monte Hermoso Beach's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicolas Salomon was slow to take the kick. During this time GERLIROJO Ψ's players had a chance to rest. Nicolas Salomon made a great header on GERLIROJO Ψ's corner, it was just that Monte Hermoso Beach's Zachariasz Chmielecki managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the GERLIROJO Ψ defense, Aage Hill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Lastur. The GERLIROJO Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Lastur should have stopped the shot. A collision led to GERLIROJO Ψ getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Genaro Tauro hit a great ball. Zachariasz Chmielecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Jax in the 38th minute of play. Aage Hill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Lastur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Monte Hermoso Beach getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Flavius Marchiș hit a great ball. Monte Hermoso Beach made a substitution. Hector Montrel replaced Aage Hill. After 43 played minutes Monte Hermoso Beach got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Marchiș. Teo Remigio made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hector Montrel however managed to control. In the 46th minute, Joaquin Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monte Hermoso Beach's Siro Suarez was substituted for Fulgencio Pudes. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The GERLIROJO Ψ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monte Hermoso Beach were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Jax to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Hector Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, GERLIROJO Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyryl Lichorobiec to maneuver through the defense. Zachariasz Chmielecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Jax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Jax in the 65th minute of play forced Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Zachariasz Chmielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Jax's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zachariasz Chmielecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Montrel came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Monte Hermoso Beach fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Aquilino Ihintza replaced Genaro Tauro. The audience was convinced that Epifanio Ibañez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachariasz Chmielecki was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Epifanio Ibañez took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zachariasz Chmielecki. Zachariasz Chmielecki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Hector Montrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monte Hermoso Beach's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
