Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo lago in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierluigi Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Lebas came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jerónimo Furtado came free, but Pierluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 40th minute of play. Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Lebas in the 43rd minute of the match. After 46 minutes KaoS Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Piara Bue who took care of the corner kick. Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's Piara Bue was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pierluigi Buffon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Leopoldo Gaxan kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After 51 played minutes, KaoS Futbol Club's Lluis Companys shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KaoS Futbol Club reached it. If Lluis Companys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierluigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerónimo Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute.
