Santiago Toli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yiğit Tanırer in the 12th minute of the match. Leukothoe Atsidakos's late challenge caught a SABALEPLUS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leukothoe Atsidakos helped the player get up and apologised. Leukothoe Atsidakos kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Santiago Toli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Gaxan in the 19th minute of the match. Santiago Toli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leukothoe Atsidakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SABALEPLUS's Adam Penc shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edwin van der Sar but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Leukothoe Atsidakos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Toli was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Santiago Toli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leukothoe Atsidakos in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Enaut got free with Edwin van der Sar in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute of the match Piara Bue sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santiago Toli skillfully saved the ball. Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yiğit Tanırer in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's Adam Penc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin van der Sar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Jerónimo Furtado made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SABALEPLUS booed when Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Szczepanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leopoldo Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's Santiago Toli threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Horia Taşcu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edwin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yiğit Tanırer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78thth minute of the game Bernardo lago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SABALEPLUS's Santiago Toli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leopoldo Gaxan hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Ovidio Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. SABALEPLUS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Enaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edwin van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
