Cristian Naike started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Enrique do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Naike could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Emerson Leão made a huge save. Dan Petrescu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The long shot by Santos Fonda in the 7th minute really tested Emerson Leão's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 8th minute, Cristian Naike left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vélez Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 14th minute, Tiburcio Quinteros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emerson Leão. The goal made the score 2-0. Elpidio Vitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Marques in the 23rd minute of the match. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Quinteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th match minute, Vélez Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Fonda to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Emerson Leão got control of the ball when Cristian Naike tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elpidio Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofil Zjawin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cristian Naike came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Vélez Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Naike couldn't finish the play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Quinteros in the 59th minute of the match. Emerson Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Naike went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Vélez Juniors made a substitution.
