Hermann Hesse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilles Clerc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermann Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilles Clerc, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Basualdo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Herz came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Damian Regulez. But to his dismay, Bartolo Basualdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Deportivo Popolizio FBC booed when Zelg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albain Furst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Joao Montanez was substituted for Nils Gielis. Albain Furst kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Erruki Velarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Mainville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Hermann Hesse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stephan Eichenberger. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zelg FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
