To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Willian Cuesta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Maule in the 16th minute. Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Garci in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute ARES FC DeusDeFutbol were awarded a corner. Albert Hufnagel went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristian Naike who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Willian Cuesta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Albert Hufnagel made a great header on ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's corner, it was just that Vélez Juniors's Elpidio Vitin managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristian Naike in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Willian Cuesta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
