The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Kerimhan Sökmen hit a great ball. Union Lara FC's Tome Usel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Union Lara FC from getting a goal against them. Tome Usel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantino Bertol in the 9th minute. Arnoldo Kismi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veremundo Salz in the 11th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Lei Fei Song ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoldo Kismi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savier Labora in the 37th minute of play. Veremundo Salz took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Kismi. Arnoldo Kismi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fermin Mingo to strike the kick off in the second half. Tome Usel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a little luck, C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi got control of the ball when Alfredo Guardia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Veremundo Salz took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Kismi. Arnoldo Kismi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Union Lara FC's Francis Salazar was substituted for Lei Fei Song. After a rather tough play, Union Lara FC's Edilberto Lacalle got a free kick in the 71st minute. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francis Salazar in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Francis Salazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Guardia got free with Arnoldo Kismi in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Veremundo Salz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Kismi. C. A. Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Veremundo Salz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Arnoldo Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francis Salazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Francis Salazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the C. A. Atlanta defense, Alfredo Guardia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoldo Kismi. The C. A. Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoldo Kismi should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Union Lara FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
