The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Tonni Bynge got a free kick in the 3rd minute. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Constantino Bertol scored to the left of an out of position Thanasis Papadimitriou, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gottfrid Kjellbom in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Kismi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8thth minute of the game Gottfrid Kjellbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Wilfredo Henríguez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoldo Kismi skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Thanasis Papadimitriou got control of the ball when Iker Dolfos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnoldo Kismi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wilfredo Henríguez in the 36th minute. The corner ended in Wilfredo Henríguez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi did a great save. In the 39th match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Gil to maneuver through the defense. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Henríguez in the 39th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of C. A. Atlanta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.:s goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Primo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Sapardi Sopandi got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gottfrid Kjellbom in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Kismi saved C. A. Atlanta from getting behind. Alberto Jaen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnoldo Kismi came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Jaen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 59th minute. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Federico Gil kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Arnoldo Kismi made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Sapardi Sopandi sent off a good shot on target. Constantino Bertol charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantino Bertol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Constantino Bertol kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Gottfrid Kjellbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Kismi made a huge save. When Constantino Bertol came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the C. A. Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Bertol couldn't finish the play. The supporters of GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Hever didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Jaen in the 81st minute of play. Arnoldo Kismi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gottfrid Kjellbom's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Isaac Eate got a free kick in the 89th minute. Arnoldo Kismi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Jaen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 90 minute of play. Arnoldo Kismi was a little too slow when Gottfrid Kjellbom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-3.
