After a rather tough play, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Eleuterio Estebano got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Catranides in the 10th minute of the match. Romulo Hever hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Chabier kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Leo Unzaga hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Chabier. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Primo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolás DAndrea was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 23 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Manex. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Primo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolás DAndrea saved Defensores del Ángel Gris from getting behind. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Bertol in the 37th minute of play. After 43 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Iker Dolfos. After 45 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Federico Gil. If Co Fuchs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Constantino Bertol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolás DAndrea having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Macias in the 62nd minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Catranides in the 65th minute of the match. Nicolás DAndrea had great luck who in the 67thth minute grab hold of the ball when Teodoro Primo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 68th minute of the match C. A. Atlanta got a corner. Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teodoro Primo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Co Fuchs got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Catranides in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Estebano came free, but Tony Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores del Ángel Gris's zone, Isaac Eate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolás DAndrea came out of the goal and Isaac Eate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tony Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Estebano in the 85th minute of play. Nicolás DAndrea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Primo in the 88th minute. Defensores del Ángel Gris were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
