The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reginaldo Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Kevin Curado made a huge save. Salvador Trigueiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Hermes Rebocho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermes Rebocho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Trigueiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Curado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Gentil in the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lima Team's zone, Reginaldo Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Curado came out of the goal and Reginaldo Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salvador Trigueiro charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Trigueiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Inácio Vasques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reginaldo Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Curado having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Gentil in the 20th minute of play forced Lima Team's goalkeeper Kevin Curado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Reginaldo Amaral made a precise shot to the right of Kevin Curado. Lima Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's Hermes Rebocho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estevão Rego in the 28th minute of play. Kevin Curado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Mendes in the 31st minute of play. Salvador Trigueiro took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermes Rebocho. Hermes Rebocho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 43 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Rios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lima Team the free kick. Vivaldo Rios hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match Vivaldo Branco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermes Rebocho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th match minute, Lima Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Branco to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Estevão Rego to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Lima Team's Éder Carrasqueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hermes Rebocho. Hermes Rebocho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After some careless play in the Lima Team defense, Henrique Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevin Curado. The Lima Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Curado should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ booed when Lima Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Avelar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Curado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo Amaral in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Mendes in the 88th minute of play forced Lima Team's goalkeeper Kevin Curado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Trigueiro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Inácio Vasques struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Kevin Curado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ. After 96 minutes of play, Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's Lisandro Gentil made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevin Curado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
