In the 6thth minute of the game Mateus Campos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SLB TELHA's Horácio Fontoura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the SLB TELHA defense, Alexandre Veríssimo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horácio Fontoura. The SLB TELHA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horácio Fontoura should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Teófilo Pádua got a free kick in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Alexandre Veríssimo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Horácio Fontoura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Hildeberto Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Américo Raposo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horácio Fontoura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Veríssimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Teófilo Pádua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Fontoura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Modesto. In the 36th minute of the match Virgílio Anjos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horácio Fontoura skillfully saved the ball. 38 minutes into the game, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Mateus Campos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horácio Fontoura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Teófilo Pádua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Jorge Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SLB TELHA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land the free kick. After 47 minutes of play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Teófilo Pádua made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horácio Fontoura was left in no man's land by his defense there! The SLB TELHA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land were winning 0-4.

In the 53rd minute, Teófilo Pádua reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Horácio Fontoura. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 55th minute, Teófilo Pádua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SLB TELHA's Horácio Fontoura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save SLB TELHA from getting a goal against them. Horácio Fontoura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teófilo Pádua in the 61st minute of play. In the 69th minute, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Alexandre Veríssimo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. After a rather tough play, SLB TELHA's Jesualdo Carvalho got a free kick in the 71st minute. Teófilo Pádua's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Horácio Fontoura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Raimundo Regueira hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Virgílio Anjos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Horácio Fontoura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land reached it. Horácio Fontoura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teófilo Pádua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th play minute Alexandre Veríssimo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Horácio Fontoura. 0-7. After 87 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Modesto. Horácio Fontoura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Veríssimo in the 95th minute. Horácio Fontoura was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Teófilo Pádua capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teófilo Pádua really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
