Jerónimo Leiria started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Campus Douro Academy got a freekick which was hit by Victor Sousa. Campus Douro Academy's Eliseu Bragança played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Belém in the 9th minute of play. Maurício Estrela made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Vedat Burçhan sent off a good shot on target. Rodolfo Montay struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Maurício Estrela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campus Douro Academy. Álvaro Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Estrela having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Cristiano Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Bragança saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Sousa during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF booed when Campus Douro Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Bragança took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berto Guine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Montay in the 26th minute of play forced VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's goalkeeper Maurício Estrela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Maurício Estrela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Campus Douro Academy's Idalécio Rebelo got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Vedat Burçhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Estrela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Bento came free, but Eliseu Bragança reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Campus Douro Academy's Eliseu Bragança played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerónimo Leiria in the 39th minute of play. Álvaro Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Machado got free with Maurício Estrela in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Sálvio Baldaia hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 57thth minute of the game Vedat Burçhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Maurício Estrela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Maurício Estrela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Montay in the 60th minute of play. Eliseu Bragança made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vivaldo Belém in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Vedat Burçhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campus Douro Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Vedat Burçhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurício Estrela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Campus Douro Academy's Alfredo Lemos was substituted for Sálvio Baldaia. Vivaldo Belém succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 91st playminute.
