After a defensive mix-up in AM United's zone, Adrianinho Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Bastos came out of the goal and Adrianinho Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Adelino Palma in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Adriano Toscano. If Adrianinho Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Meirelles in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ got a corner. AM United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronaldo Cosme ran over to the corner to take the kick. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Adriano Toscano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elias Novais, made in the 24th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Teodoro Freire could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Vasco Goycochea however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Muhittin Emek got a free kick in the 32nd minute. David Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Meirelles in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Meirelles in the 45th minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Adrianinho Meirelles hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Freire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrianinho Meirelles. In the 53rd minute Adrianinho Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes, Adrianinho Meirelles made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. AM United's David Bastos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the AM United defense, Mai Bin Kuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Bastos. The AM United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Bastos should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Angelo Pessoa had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Muhittin Emek hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Vasco Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Freire in the 66th minute of play. When AM United's Teodoro Freire in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mai Bin Kuan ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the match, AM United's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Bin Kuan came free, but David Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mai Bin Kuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Bastos having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mai Bin Kuan in the 78th minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muhittin Emek kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Mai Bin Kuan sped through AM United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Bastos. In the 89th minute, Teodoro Freire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vasco Goycochea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. A collision led to AM United getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nikos Christou hit a great ball. Mai Bin Kuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Bastos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, AM United's Teodoro Freire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vasco Goycochea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The AM United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
