Eliseu Bragança made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Marin in the 24th minute. Txema Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Eliseu Bragança made a huge save. Truylos Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vedat Burçhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Campus Douro Academy's corner Rodolfo Montay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Truylos Bernal quite easily take care of the ball. Campus Douro Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Pestana in the 70th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Rodolfo Linhares heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Rodolfo Montay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Campus Douro Academy's Truylos Bernal threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodolfo Montay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Montay got free with Truylos Bernal in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vedat Burçhan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Truylos Bernal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vedat Burçhans short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Truylos Bernal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 95th minute, Cecilio Unzueta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Campus Douro Academy made a substitution. Alfredo Lemos replaced Sálvio Baldaia. Truylos Bernal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from André Pestana. Campus Douro Academy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
