David Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Leiria in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Belém notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AM United's David Bastos. David Bastos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Maurício Estrela got control of the ball when Teodoro Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute Teodoro Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Estrela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Cristiano Bento made a precise shot to the right of David Bastos. AM United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Belém in the 45th minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Bertus Guine put in a rough tackle. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF! The goalkeeper, Maurício Estrela, was totally fooled by AM United's Adelino Palma, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

AM United's David Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerónimo Leiria in the 54th minute of play. Maurício Estrela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Bento. Teodoro Freire struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Maurício Estrela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AM United. 63 minutes into the match, Jerónimo Leiria notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of AM United's David Bastos. David Bastos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Bento in the 66th minute. Cristiano Bento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Bastos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Jerónimo Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Bastos having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Teodoro Freire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Estrela was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. AM United's attentive Angelo Pessoa managed to snatch the ball when Zeferino Falcão made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the game, Angelo Pessoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Maurício Estrela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Albertus Guine was substituted for Jerónimo Leiria. David Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90thth minute of the game Albertus Guine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AM United's David Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, AM United's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Bento came free, but David Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The AM United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
