Eliseu Bragança made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vasco Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Montay in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Eliseu Bragança, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eliseu Bragança came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Adrianinho Meirelles. But to his dismay, Adrianinho Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Adrianinho Meirelles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Montay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vasco Goycochea was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Pestana was slow to take the kick. During this time Campus Douro Academy's players had a chance to rest. Eliseu Bragança showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Meirelles in the 37th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Adrianinho Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrianinho Meirelles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Eliseu Bragança made a huge save. A collision led to Campus Douro Academy getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. André Pestana hit a great ball. Campus Douro Academy's Alfredo Lemos was substituted for Sálvio Baldaia. In the 80th match minute, Campus Douro Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Linhares to maneuver through the defense. Andriy Kaká hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Eliseu Bragança made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mai Bin Kuan in the 88th minute.
