With a little luck, Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola got control of the ball when Yanick Coremans tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Prada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Teves in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match, Eduardo Viana tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ignatius Casasola saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Costa in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Prada saved SANFINS VLP from getting behind. After 32 played minutes SANFINS VLP got a freekick which was hit by Harry Meikleham. SANFINS VLP's David Prada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassiano Telinhos in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Virgílio Teves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Prada was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The supporters of Garanhão do SUL booed when SANFINS VLP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SANFINS VLP players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garanhão do SUL were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Viana to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. 龙然明 hit a great ball. David Prada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Roriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SANFINS VLP's David Prada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save SANFINS VLP from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, André Roriz made a precise shot to the right of David Prada. SANFINS VLP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. David Prada was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but André Roriz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 81 minute of play. David Prada was a little too slow when André Roriz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-5. Basílio Veríssimo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Albano Leizarraga fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garanhão do SUL's protests and gave Albano Leizarraga a yellow card for diving instead. David Prada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Leizarraga in the 95th minute of play. The Garanhão do SUL players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
