Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Hellström in the 11th minute of play. If Geovani Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ☠QUINTERO☠'s Jonathan Hellström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Geovani Medeiros in the 16 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Jonathan Hellström put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aurelio Walme. In the 20th minute Breno Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Lei Feng Yan made a precise shot to the right of Tom Wall. ☠QUINTERO☠'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 26th match minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Siekkötter to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Breno Vergílio notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ☠QUINTERO☠'s Tom Wall. Tom Wall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wei Cheng Ling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Walme having to interfere. Tom Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Tom Wall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Breno Vergílio went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when ☠QUINTERO☠ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimír Ambrosetti didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Hellström to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Jonathan Hellström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 54th minute, Candido Ayala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Hellström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Walme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lei Feng Yan in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Wall saved ☠QUINTERO☠ from getting behind. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Breno Vergílio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 64 minutes into the match, ☠QUINTERO☠'s goal looked a bit too open when Lei Feng Yan came free, but Tom Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Walme having to interfere. After 69 minutes ☠QUINTERO☠'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lei Feng Yan who took care of the corner kick. Tom Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Owsiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ☠QUINTERO☠ made a substitution. Sebastián Peredo replaced Jonathan Hellström. Thanks to some nice moves Sebastián Peredo could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Aurelio Walme however easily saved by the left post. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nino Galfrè was slow to take the kick. During this time ☠QUINTERO☠'s players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Wei Cheng Ling heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. ☠QUINTERO☠'s Tom Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lei Feng Yan in the 86th minute of play. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Lei Feng Yan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ☠QUINTERO☠. Geovani Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the ☠QUINTERO☠ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for S.E.R. Caxias do Sul.
