Attilio Mascitti started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Torrijos in the 3rd minute of play forced TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's goalkeeper Laércio Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Attilio Mascitti got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Attilio Mascitti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dadhyan Rudrappa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Laércio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Villalaz in the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's zone, Enrique Gutierrez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laércio Trigo came out of the goal and Enrique Gutierrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laércio Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toto Pinilla in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Gutierrez came free, but Laércio Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute ORION F.C. were awarded a corner. Agustin Torrijos went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toto Pinilla got free with Laércio Trigo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laércio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Gutierrez in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Don Mateo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Yuri Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 72 minutes, Enrique Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ORION F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Gutierrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Agustin Torrijos came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the ORION F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Torrijos couldn't finish the play. ORION F.C. made a substitution. Felipe Gómez replaced Pedro Villalaz. Laércio Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikail Savgat, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Mikail Savgat took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laércio Trigo. Laércio Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 87 minutes into the match, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Gómez came free, but Laércio Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ORION F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Agustin Torrijos in the 88th minute. The corner led ORION F.C.'s Agustin Torrijos to fire away a dangerous shot which Laércio Trigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Laércio Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Gómez in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Felipe Gómez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Laércio Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Many of TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG may have spent more time on the ball, but ORION F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
