The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodriguinho Sousa should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrik Beaton got free with Rodriguinho Sousa in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lisandro Festas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by SLB TELHA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Unax Mudarra was slow to take the kick. During this time ATHLETICO PRaiano's players had a chance to rest. Erubiel Valery was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Patrik Beaton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Rodriguinho Sousa made a huge save. Deilmison van Basten scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lisandro Festas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaac Chesus charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Chesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isaac Chesus kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lisandro Festas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Vilhelm Skoog ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lisandro Festas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The SLB TELHA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ATHLETICO PRaiano were winning 1-2.

ATHLETICO PRaiano's Gaétan Govou quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hildeberto Cortez, made in the 54th minute of the game. In the 55th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hildeberto Cortez to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Festas was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Deilmison van Basten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Deilmison van Basten really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
