La Pointe Courte's Gao Yang Yan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save La Pointe Courte from getting a goal against them. Roch Felenak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Festas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Jose Cachero's late challenge caught a La Pointe Courte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Cachero helped the player get up and apologised. Jose Cachero hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Lisandro Festas came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by La Pointe Courte's Roch Felenak. But to his dismay, Roch Felenak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gao Yang Yan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Beaton in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Dan Black hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rudy Laisney kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Roch Felenak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Festas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After 39 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Tomé. 40 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's Roch Felenak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lisandro Festas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of SLB TELHA booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Felenak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, La Pointe Courte's Roch Felenak got a free kick in the 55th minute. 1-2 became the score in the 59th minute when Patrik Beaton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lisandro Festas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Felenak in the 69th minute of play. La Pointe Courte's Gao Yang Yan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Beaton in the 72nd minute of play. Lisandro Festas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Felenak in the 74th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Patrik Beaton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gao Yang Yan was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Lisandro Festas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Felenak, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 84 minutes, Hildeberto Cortez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SLB TELHA and the La Pointe Courte players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hildeberto Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Pointe Courte's Gilbert Thellier was substituted for Alain Girault. In the 85th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hildeberto Cortez to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Tomé made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Patrik Beaton. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jose Cachero hit a great ball. The SLB TELHA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Pointe Courte's performance. The match ended with a win for La Pointe Courte.
