The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roch Felenak to strike the kick off in the second half. The corner ended in Pastor Nofre almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Pointe Courte's Jolan Galindo did a great save. La Pointe Courte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. It was a well-played corner which Gilbert Thellier managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 87 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Jolan Galindo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Nofre. Dalmacio Pello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Leite in the 90th minute of the match. La Pointe Courte's Jolan Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Cordearo in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tello AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
