In the 4th minute, Afonso da Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Armindo Salgado. VB-Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alisson De Gasperi made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luís Caeiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 10th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Afonso da Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Salgado should have stopped the shot. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 16th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim de Barros got free with Ludomil Ziomkowski in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 minutes, Alisson De Gasperi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VB-Team and the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alisson De Gasperi to maneuver through the defense. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute Afonso da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute Joaquim de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Ziomkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Álvaro Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Caeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Ziomkowski having to interfere. After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Alisson De Gasperi got a free kick in the 36th minute. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after VB-Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xande Campbell took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of VB-Team's goalie and right to Afonso da Cunha. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. VB-Team's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 41st minute, Xande Campbell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso da Cunha came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Caeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso da Cunha made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso da Cunha in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armindo Salgado saved VB-Team from getting behind. Xande Campbell kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. During the 55th minute of the match Alisson De Gasperi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alisson De Gasperi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 56 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Alisson De Gasperi. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Wlodzimierz Swoboda replaced David Brás. After 57 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Alisson De Gasperi. 61 minutes into the game, Virgiawan Laturua recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armindo Salgado. Virgiawan Laturua showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ made a substitution. Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein replaced Emanuele Bertoni. In the 85th match minute, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Ikatz to maneuver through the defense. VB-Team's Sandro Leitão was substituted for Qiu Sheng Bang. In the 86th minute, Eustacio Ikatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Armindo Salgado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Hăvârneanu in the 94th minute of play. The CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
