An unexpectedly hard shot by Aras Görkem Kaymaz in the 2nd minute of play forced Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cai Yuan Yuan got free with Ademar Azevedo in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ademar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Cai Yuan Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pankracy Zajonc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Binne Koppermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of MZ Fénix booed when Sporting Clube Patrício was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cai Yuan Yuan came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the MZ Fénix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cai Yuan Yuan couldn't finish the play. Ademar Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cai Yuan Yuan got free with Ademar Azevedo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ademar Azevedo came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan. But to his dismay, Cai Yuan Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, MZ Fénix's Vygantas Petrošius got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Binne Koppermann was the one to do the kick off. Ademar Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cai Yuan Yuan's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Ademar Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Binne Koppermann notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc. Pankracy Zajonc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. MZ Fénix made a substitution. Alexandre Valido replaced Vladimiro Granja. MZ Fénix's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aras Görkem Kaymaz in the 74th minute. Tomás Portugal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pankracy Zajonc having to make a save. Pankracy Zajonc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Portugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the game, MZ Fénix's Florin Dragușin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ademar Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 89th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Onofre kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. MZ Fénix walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
