When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luca Postelnicescu made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Vila Nova FC's Mete Nared slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rogério Ceni. That made the score 0-3 after 81 minutes of play. Vila Nova FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
