An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Bruchon in the 7th minute of play forced Real Brasília FC's goalkeeper Sérgio Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Goianésia E.C fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Goianésia E.C's Ronaldinho Bruchon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 26th minute, Ronaldinho Bruchon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Sabóia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a little luck, Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek got control of the ball when Enerik Valencia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Goianésia E.C's Tomasz Poniewaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Sabóia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Real Brasília FC's Sérgio Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Faiko in the 46th minute of play. When Goianésia E.C's Ronaldinho Bruchon in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 57th minute of the match Goianésia E.C got a corner. Real Brasília FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mathias Vidal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mathias Vidal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Brasília FC's Sérgio Sabóia did a great save. Real Brasília FC made a substitution. Toninho das Neves replaced Valentin Ferrando. Real Brasília FC's Artur do Vale was substituted for Moisés Arce. In the 71st minute, Valentin Ferrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Sabóia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mathias Vidal. In the 75th minute of the match, Mark Faiko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sérgio Sabóia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erberk Fitriansyah in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Balonek saved Goianésia E.C from getting behind. Real Brasília FC's Donato Marinho was substituted for Benjamin de Amaral. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Goianésia E.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erberk Fitriansyah was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Brasília FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Real Brasília FC's corner Erberk Fitriansyah fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Norbert Balonek quite easily take care of the ball. Anselmo Teixeira's late challenge caught a Goianésia E.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Real Brasília FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Anselmo Teixeira hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, Real Brasília FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enerik Valencia to maneuver through the defense. Goianésia E.C's Ronaldinho Bruchon got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enerik Valencia in the 91st minute of play forced Goianésia E.C's goalkeeper Norbert Balonek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute José Augusto Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Balonek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Faiko's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sérgio Sabóia firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Goianésia E.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
